Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and based on the novella by George R.R. Martin, the film centers on a queen who, desperate to fulfill her love, plays a daring game: she sends the powerful and feared sorceress Grey Alys (Mila Jovovich) into the haunting wilderness of the Lost Lands in search of magical powers, where the sorceress and her drifter guide Boyce (Dave Bautista) must outwit and defeat both man and demon.
