None of them mention Love, Actually, the hugely popular Christmas movie
Scenario
Helen begins a passionate affair with a man who has no idea of her secret identity. Helen’s employer finds himself in conflict when her lover falls prey to London’s dangerous underworld and enlists Sam to protect him. There is a scene where the characters discuss their favourite Christmas movies.

With Graham Norton and Gosti: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). The acting is great, which is why I sat down to watch it. However, it took me about 10 minutes to realise that this was not a serious version of an old spy game.

This is not Tinker, Tailor etc. and nowhere near the tension/sophisticated humour of Slow Horses. If Love Actually, Slow Horses, and a comedian got together and had a baby, this would be it…
It’s fun and watchable, but don’t get your hopes up
You don’t finish one episode and despair of starting the next one. And you can watch it while you’re still following the story. Like I said, the charming cast and all that Ben W is always worth watching.
